I Breath the Same Air You Do

Take this pill to numb the pain
That binds you every other day
Forget the source because you can't get past the throbbing

Take a crack at immunity
Up the dose, just to be neutral
You can lose the secrecy
Because we already know you're addicted

There's no excuse for lacking will
And lying is not an honoured skill
But now I have learned that
You are still a child

So breath the fumes that allow you to
Feed again once more from the womb
Keep in mind that I breath the same air you do

You can't get better without being worse
No sense in trying unless you're ready to be hurt
You can't get better without coming down to Earth
You can't get better when you always finish first
