Inspire Sonnet 116

Do not tell a couple that Love will fade with time, nor that it will falter,
For their love is irreplaceable,
It is a brand, permanently etched into their minds.
Fearless, Love stares Conflict in the face,
With such confidence that will guide all creatures.
Love has no concept of time, yet holds on for it's dear life,
Only your own grip will slip through, for Love's will never loosen.
And if I am to be proven wrong,
Love does not exist.

After the line, "Their love is unreplaceable" I was tempted to add "at this point in time," which contradicts the rest of the poem. I love paradoxes and contradictions, but for the sake of continuity I chose to erase the line.

Today I built a snowfort with my brother. It's the best creation I have ever been a part of, although I accidently made a "window." We were planning on sleeping in there next weekend (assuming it would survive the week), but because of the additional airway I think those plans are out of the question. It would get too cold. Perhaps I can fill it in and add additional support to it. The two of us can fit in there comfortably with our parka's, it's quite large. I haven't built a snowfort in years and years, I have been craving it.
Next time (maybe this week) I am going to go and build a snowfort on someone elses lawn, hopefully they will catch me and ask me what the fuck I am doing on their property. I will either throw a snowball and run, or ask them to join. Wish me luck.

Oh build it on mine!!:):):) I LOVE snowforts! They make life a better place. And that sonnet was beautiful. It made me happy inside. Yay.

...I guess I should have made it more clear. The poem is not a sonnet, but was inspired by a sonnet I read. I wrote a poem in response to a poem, so technically it's not entirely my own creation. I can't take all the credit.

Ashes is awesome. I miss him. If you're going to sleep inside the fort, just make sure you don't make the mistake I did. I thought that in order for no wind to get into mine, I should cover it in water so that the ice would be a protective layer. Not so. Make sure you put water on it whatsoever because the ventilation/circulation/coagulation needs to breathe like a mammoth. Ignore me. We're gonna jam a lot on the Feb. break and do some recording, deal? I love you.

We can jam lots, but I will be recording a lot for myself (March 1st is real soon...) as well as my cousin. He is going to be staying at a friends who lives about a block from me (apparently) and then he will walk over every day, so he may be the priority because he won't be at his own house and whatnot, we will have to schedule jam times ahead of time, it's no problem that I leave for a few hours to jam, as long as I know when/what time until what time.
